WELCOME
Mae Stiwdio 21 yn gyfle i ddathlu creadigrwydd a dychymyg myfyrwyr ein cwrs Gradd Sylfaen mewn Celf a Dylunio. Maent wedi llwyddo’n rhagorol i wynebu heriau’r cyfnodau clo gan greu stiwdios yn eu cartrefi ac ar-lein pan na allent weithio yn y coleg. Gwyddom mai dymuniad y myfyrwyr fyddai cydnabod y gefnogaeth gref roeddent yn ei rhoi i’w gilydd yn ystod y cyfnod digynsail hwn. Yn aml, pan fo pethau anoddaf arnom rydym hefyd yn fwy creadigol ac mae’r corff hwn o waith yn dysteb i hynny.
Mae’n bleser adfyfyrio ar ehangder ac amrywiaeth y gwaith a geir yma, a sylwi ar ba mor wreiddiol ac uchelgeisiol ydyw. Mae’r gwaith yn llawn syniadau a chysyniadau ac yn seiliedig ar ddull unigryw pob myfyriwr o weithio. Edrychwn ymlaen at ddilyn eu gyrfaoedd creadigol a dymunwn bob llwyddiant iddynt.
FdA Celf a Dylunio
Stiwdio21 is a fantastic celebration of the imagination and creativity of our FdA Art & Design graduates. They have risen to the challenges of multiple lockdowns with adaptability and flair – their studios have been in various guises, at home, online as well as on campus. We know the students would want to acknowledge the strong support they have given each other, an important community through these unprecedented times. Often, when things are at their most difficult, we are at our most creative and this body of work is testament to that.
It is a pleasure to reflect on the work here, the breadth and diversity, individuality and ambition. The work is rich in ideas and concepts and rooted in a methodology unique to each student. We look forward to following their progress as they embark on their creative futures, and wish them all success.
